SANDWAGON
A downloadable game for Windows

THE PLAN
Four idiots. One van. No sensible route.
SANDWAGON is a cozy, funny desert road-trip sandbox about keeping an old home-on-wheels moving across a very large, very empty place.
Walk around the van. Climb into the driver’s seat. Load, remove and throw things. Follow the road when it exists. Leave it when it looks suspicious. Stop for a campfire, a settlement, a storm, or a decision that seemed better five minutes ago.
THE VAN
The van is the main character.
It is heavy, temperamental and held together by repair work, optimism and several components that are technically removable.
Open the doors, inspect the cabin, turn the wheel, feel the suspension work and make the interior your temporary home.
THE CREW
Four seats. No adult supervision.
Big F — Built for heavy lifting. Currently on a break.
Small F — Packed a wrench. Absolutely certain that helps.
Haos — Checks the map. Then checks it again.
Jhenka — Can fix almost anything. Has met the others.

THE ROAD
The world begins at a small lived-in camp and opens into worn dirt roads, long empty stretches, roadside oddities and distant settlements.
Follow the road when it helps. Leave it when it looks suspicious.
THE WEATHER
A road trip with weather.
The desert changes from warm daylight to quiet night, rare rain, distant lightning and sandstorms that make a bad idea feel worse.
Start at a small camp, find the road, and see what is waiting beyond the next empty stretch.
CURRENT BUILD
This is an early Windows development build.
It is a playable single-player and multiplayer prototype focused on the van, first-person body, driving, streamed desert travel, weather and the opening journey.
The 1–4 player co-op idea is planned, but it is not available in this build yet.
Please tell us what feels good, what feels awkward, and which terrible decision you made on the road.
CONTROLS
WASD — Move
Mouse — Look
E — Interact
F — Pick up or drop
R — Throw
T — Enter or exit the van
J — Pause
CREDITS AND FEEDBACK
Made with an unreasonable amount of affection for battered vehicles, bad plans and quiet roads.
Screenshots show the current playable build.
